Father's Day Etc....

Quick update via pics....

Uncle Tom and Aunt Barb visited us on their way up from Florida. Davis enjoyed some good reading time.

Memorial Day

Memorial weekend @ the Parker casa was good, productive and relaxing. Nice change.

We got some work done around the house, D was very helpful.
We went to Senoia, where Ty builds, for their celebration. D was into it. Who let grizzly Adams push the stroller?
We had a great time, D really liked the flags.
The garden grew a lot. We picked our first squash and zucchini. Looks like we need to pick some cucumbers too.

Braves

Sunday was a big day for Davis. He made his first trip to the Varsity.....
Looks like a natural
Ty would like to point out the Georgia Tech football stadium in the background of this picture
In addition to D's first Varsity experience, it was also D's first Braves' game!
It was pretty hot, but we were ready...
Pappy got to join us. Here he and D are taking it all in.
Uncle Chuck even got to join us, what a crew!
Great dugout seats
This is Gregory, he was our section's attendant. He found out it was D's first game and brought him a ball. We were a little more excited about it than Davis.
What a cute kid, ready to root 'em on.
Well, until he decided to sleep, a lot.
It was a full day but we had fun and were proud of him for hanging in there!

Beach!

We all had a great time at the beach over the weekend, despite the weather. D got to "try out" a bike from the neighbor's grandkids. I think "bike" is his new favorite word.
He wore his "bike hat" when he could. Such a safety minded toddler!
We kept him busy and I guess tired. Here's D in his stroller TAKING A NAP, unheard of! Seriously, this is like the 3rd time EVER!
Enjoyed lots of munchies from Modica, as always. (Who is that old child?)
As you can see, the ocean was, well....choppy we'll say. Not very "nice day at the beach"-ish but us pale folk (two of us Parkers) appreciate it.
Again, how did he get so big?
D makes great faces.
He's doing some sort of dance here, very talented.
Thanks to Hanner and Pappy for making it all happen (and to God for the clouds). Good times.

Hat

Curly-headed cutie. Notice his crossed legs, funny. I was throwing him in the air.
D is a fan of hats. We bought this one on Sat. and I swear he has had it on since! He's in his PJs in this pic for heaven's sake. Now if we could only find his fishing pole.....
And that's all folks.

Easter

Easter was beautiful! The weather was quite warm, but it was nice.
This picture cracks me up, he has on Ty's sunglasses and looks like a total frat boy.
He's so old too, doesn't look like a baby....
But still looks like Ty!
Outside with Bapa
Feeding the birds at Mimi and Bapa's house
New ball and bobcat
Family photo, we're so squinty!
Like I said, it was rather warm. Davis wanted to show off his tummy.
We have had a LATE spring this year so it has taken a while to see things bloom. BUt finally the redbud bloomed in our rear yard.
Ty tilled the garden. We need to add some fertilizer (manure, mushroom compost etc.) then we will be ready to plant! Better late than never. Also, notice the current shed status...
I've covered this before, but it's worth repeating. Beware carrots that get left in a little too long....
Happy Easter!!
The angel spoke to the women: "There is nothing to fear here. I know you're looking for Jesus, the One they nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as he said. Come and look at the place where he was placed. Matthew 28:5-6

Shed

I know you are dying for a shed update so....

Here's Ty and our neighbor Tom (sweet guy who worked Ty to death laying our sod and lets us borrow his tiller every year).
And for a consolation, here is a baby in the bathtub picture.

Wasn't that exciting?
